ASSERT Failed check: alerts, never counted as downtime

API response failed its body assertion

The API answered with a success status, but the body did not contain the text or the JSON value the monitor expects.

What it usually means

The API answered with a success status, but the response body did not pass the assertion set on this monitor: a required string was missing, a JSON field was absent, or it did not hold the expected value. The endpoint is reachable; the data it returns is what changed.

What to check first

How ErrorDetector reports it

The target answered, so this is reported as a failed check, not downtime: the alert names the reason, the uptime percentage is untouched, and a recovery notice follows when the check passes again.
