Who we are

ErrorDetector (errordetector.eu) is a website monitoring service operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME / ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we process and why. You can reach us at support@errordetector.eu.

02

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, company name, hashed password, subscription tier, and billing status.
  • Monitoring configuration: the URLs, hostnames and check settings you add. Credentials you store for authenticated checks are encrypted at rest.
  • Monitoring results: status codes, response times, SSL/domain metadata for the endpoints you monitor, retained according to your plan (3–24 months).
  • Alert destinations: email addresses, webhook URLs and Telegram chat IDs you configure as alert contacts.
  • Technical logs: IP addresses and user-agent strings in security and audit logs, kept for abuse prevention.
03

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, run third-party advertising trackers, or use your monitoring data for anything other than providing the service to you.

04

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe's processing is governed by its own privacy policy.

05

Legal basis & your rights (GDPR)

We process account and monitoring data to perform our contract with you, and security logs on the basis of legitimate interest. You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time — deleting your account from the settings page removes your data permanently. For anything else, email support@errordetector.eu.

06

Data retention

Monitoring history is retained per your plan (Free 3 months, Solo 12 months, Team/Enterprise 24 months). Account data is deleted when you delete your account. Backups age out automatically.

07

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
